plus the registered business name. No signup. Honest: if VIES is down or rate-limits us, you get a
clear "service unavailable", never a fabricated valid.

POST https://www.facturproof.com/v1/vat/verify returns a signed Ed25519 evidence certificate (add
requester_vat for VIES's official consultation number). To check a whole supplier list
in one call, use POST https://www.facturproof.com/v1/vat/batch — up to 100 ids, 1 credit each, malformed ids
reported free, a VIES outage refunds the batch. Scheduled monitoring (get alerted when a supplier goes
invalid) is next.
